Working in the comfort of my own home with my children by my side has always been a dream of mine, a dream that finally came true in February of 2005.
My husband and I are both in the medical field. We found ourselves working 13-14 hour days, 4-5 days a week. There was no choice for us but place our kids in daycare. Like many people, putting our kids in daycare was not an easy decision to make. Having our daycare provider see our kids say their first words and taking their first steps was crushing. After looking at my income, we soon realized that my check was primarily going towards daycare.
